ABSENCES

Research shows that there is a definite connection between student attendance and achievement.

We ask that we are notified of all absences. This can be either a phone call stating the reason for the absence of your child/children, or you can use our HERO communication app to report an absence.

We ask that you contact the school before 9.00 am on the morning of the absence or before the day if that is possible. Acceptable reasons for absences are illness, bereavement and appointments. Student absences are monitored carefully.
